MÉXICO

I often wonder about the layers of lives when I walk the streets of Colonial Mexican towns or visit old Haciendas. There is something about the way the textured, stone and colored walls here in Mexico stay
mute and put, whatever goes flashing by.If these walls could talk, what story would they
tell? Of their stone on stone origin, continual repair or empty neglect? Of the artisian that carefully painted, molded or carved it’s decoration? Of the people who live behind them or those they separate? These dramatic abstractions in watercolor or pastel offer rare evidence of their unspoken history.
